You can upload a JPG, PNG, GIF and BMP files to create individual pages of your clickable prototype.
Not at all. Your mockups are stored at their true size, resolution and file type that they were uploaded at.
Yes, Solidify’s prototype viewer is responsive based based on the dimensions participant’s viewing device so that whole mockup will be displayed on their screen at once.
You can replace screens within prototypes and your links will stay where they are. Just make sure you upload the new image at the same resolution as the original.
Yep! From your dashboard, click on the prototype you’d like to add more screens to and then select “Edit”. From here you can add new screens and edit or create new linked sets.
By pinning a hot spot to all pages, it will appear in the same place across all screens of your prototype. Moving the hot spot on one page will, in turn, move it on all other pages it has been pinned to, as well.
Pinned hot spots are great for repeated links like navigation menus or footers so long as these elements appear at the same location across all pages within the prototype.
When testers move their mouse within a hover state hot spot, the page will switched to the linked one, just as if they would have clicked it. However, unlike an actual click, the page will switch back once their mouse leaves the hot spot. Hover states are also non-clickable.
Hover states can be used to simulate drop down menus or other types of page states that would only be accessible using a hover as opposed to a click. Because of their intended behavior, hover states cannot be used as the success of a directive based task.
Sure! If you select the Demographics options while creating a prototype you can select what information you’d like to ask testers to provide. The prompt for demographics information is shown at the end of your prototype and can include asking for testers’ name, email address, age, gender, location, company, phone number and Twitter handle.
When you create a public prototype, you are given a simple, shareable URL that lets you easily get feedback from a broad audience.
Private prototypes have complex URLs that are nearly impossible to guess, making it almost like a password was built into the link, itself. Only the people you share your private prototype with will be able to see it.
